What price alerts monitor

Server-specific observations

Retail, Classic, Anniversary, region, and faction economies move separately. An alert tied to your exact server is clearer than a generic "WoW gold price" benchmark, but it still only monitors observed listings.

Personal thresholds

Choose the observation level you want to track before checking external offers. If the snapshot is above that level, compare nearby server or edition pages for context rather than relying on one quote.

Less manual checking

Use alerts alongside tracked price-history charts and offer-depth snapshots so you can monitor snapshot changes without repeatedly opening marketplace listings.

How to choose an observation threshold

  1. Open Cheapest WoW Gold and search for your server, region, edition, and faction.
  2. Open the server page and review the current price, recent history, and offer depth. Thin markets can move quickly.
  3. Use the WoW gold calculator to translate a price per 1,000g into the rough total shown by the latest snapshot.
  4. Create an alert from your server page or account area with the observation threshold you want to monitor, then adjust it if the tracked snapshot changes.
